We have been designing and deploying National Instruments based engine controllers since 2004. We started Drivven, Inc. in 2004 with the intent of popularizing Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based engine controllers. We chose the National Instruments platform because it had at the time (and still does) the easiest to use and most comprehensive set of high-level tools for FPGAs.

In 2010 National Instruments wanted to expand in to the automotive space and offered to acquire Drivven. We readily joined National Instruments as a chance to expand our products and services in to new spaces.

In 2017 We left National Instruments to start again as Vieletech. We are providing the same products and services as we were before. In addition we are rolling out a new generation of IO modules for the more powerful NI SLSC platform.

In 2017 other parts of the NI PCG team joined LHP (www.lhpes.com) to form LHP Technical Solutions. We work closely with LHPTS on many projects where LHP TS provides the rack build and mechanical assembly while we provide the combustion engineering expertise. Vieletech and LHPTS jointly use the Drivven brand on new products. Vieletech controllers are Drivven by Vieletech and LHP TS HIL systems are Drivven by LHP
